Includes biographical information about James Gillaspie, describes Sam Houston's activities, the capture of Santa Anna, the attack of the Steamboat Yellowstone, the Mier Expedition, and many other events and people involved in the Texas Revolution. Also includes newspaper clippings on the Battle of San Jacinto and its last survivors, and a photograph of the last reunion of the battle's survivors.
